Dockyard Railway in Action - 3 & 4 July
The Historic Dockyard Railway will be operating, running demonstration freight train, by either steam and / or diesel locomotives this weekend.

Throughout this year’s Summer Holidays (26th July – 29th August), we will be staging a pirate extravaganza for families. Young visitors will be able to enjoy the delights of the specially created ‘Pirates’ Play Place’, with stimulating creative activities, family learning opportunities, story-telling, puppet shows, and costumed characters – including Captain Flint, the mischievous parrot who is always on the look out for treasure to steal! Art in the Dockyard
Art in the Dockyard The Historic Dockyard Chatham is delighted to announce the opening of its popular Art In The Dockyard art competition. Artists, professional or amateur, aged 18+ who live, work or study in Kent are warmly invited to register into the competition before 21 August 2010 to potentially see their art work, exhibited in the exciting, brand new No.1 Smithery Gallery which opened to visitors in July.
