All MR2 owners and clubs are invited to join the Drivers Club to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the MR2 in The Historic Dockyard's 25th Anniversary year!  Tickets are £8.00 per head for MR2 Drivers and their passengers, or £5.00 per head for children accompanied by an adult.  This includes admission on both the Saturday and Sunday to The Historic Dockyard attractions and the designated MR2 area.  Main MR2 activities will be on Saturday 8th August.  There will be some fabulous prizes for the various fun competitions during the day including a Mk3 Hard Top cover and Stand courtesy of UK Custom Covers, a track day voucher from Javelin Track Days and much more!  For more info, please email cliveandwendy.elsdon@mr2dc.com| or call 0844 335 0357.  This event is organised by The MR2 Drivers Club - www.mr2dc.com|

Smugglers come out of hiding to share their secrets and treasures with visitors at The Historic Dockyard Chatham over the August Bank Holiday weekend. On Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August the “value for money summer family fun” continues with exciting ‘Smuggler themed’ activities, all included in the normal admission price. These include creative workshops, a children’s themed ‘smuggled goods’ lucky-dip and a ‘Spot the Smuggler Trail’ with a prize for the winner. As well as these Smuggler activities, there will be an interactive Smuggglers Tale storytelling session, a roving singing smuggler and a variety of childrens’ games on board HMS Gannet, colouring activities, a Brass Rubbing Trail, a Family Fun Trail and the family Ropery tour – all to add to the enjoyment of a visit and to keep the children amused!
