Dockyard Railway in Action!
The Historic Dockyard Railway will be operating, running demonstration freight train, by either steam and / or diesel locomotives this weekend.

Tickets are now on sale for the VE Day Ball on Saturday 8th May!
7.30pm to midnight (doors open 7pm)

On the 65th Anniversary of VE Day, guests at the Ball will be able to really get ‘In the Mood’ and dance the night away at this 1940s themed evening dance, from 7.30pm to midnight. The VE Day Ball takes place amongst authentic Second World War artefacts and memorabilia, in the historic No.5 Covered Slip at one of Britain’s leading maritime heritage destinations and acts as a ‘taster’ for the Salute to the ‘40s weekend event in September.  Book early| to avoid disappointment!

Murder in the Mast House - Ghost Investigation!

A night–time Ghost Investigation will take place on 14th and 15th May this year in the Mast House and Mould Loft at The Historic Dockyard Chatham, as part of Culture 24’s ‘Museums at Night’ campaign.

The Mast House and Mould Loft is currently home to the ‘Wooden Walls of England’ exhibition, one of the many museum galleries at The Historic Dockyard Chatham.   Click here for more info .....|
