The Historic Dockyard Chatham offers a rich and diverse resource for teachers and learners.

There is a wide variety of topics to stimulate historical, scientific and geographic interest. Opportunities for creative writing, art & design, role-play and information technology are also in abundance - indeed, the site is a cross-curricular one-stop shop!

With a World War Two Destroyer, a ¼ mile-long Ropery and a Cold War submarine among our many jewels, your pupils will have so much fun they’ll hardly realise they are learning at all.
