Kent Police Museum representing a small wartime Police Station.
Nelson Brewery. Open as wartime Pub.
Ruffles Re-enactors. Women’s Land Army display.
The Fire Service Preservation Group with a wartime Fire Station and fire fighting displays.
Manston Fire Museum. Wartime Fire Engines and equipment.
The Cinque Ports Lindy Hoppers. Wartime dance and music with have-a-go dance sessions.
The 1940’s Society. Ministry of Information films and lectures.
NAAFI Mobile Canteen display with fully operational Austin K2 NAAFI Wagon.
The Fleet’s in. US Navy Shore Patrol and equipment.
Anchors Aweigh. US Navy Shore Patrol and US Navy Women’s Service.
Women’s Voluntary Service displays in the Commissioner’s House.
The Battle for Europe Group. Essex Regt Infantry encampment, vehicles and equipment.
Gold Beach Living History Group. Wireless Section and radio intercept vehicles.
Chatham Home Guard. Displays of the volunteers who joined the Home Guard.
Sittingbourne Homefront Living History Society. Promenading civilian characters.
Total Soldiers. British Glider Pilot Regiment.
2nd Battalion Kings Shropshire Light Infantry. Military displays and vehicles.
The Desert Rats. British 8th Army display.
Soldier Blue. Royal Air Force Regiment displays.
The Dockyard Steam Society with an assortment of pre-1945 steam engines.
The Grey Funnel Line. British Royal Naval displays, weapons and equipment.
‘Grumpy Old Matelots’. Promenading Royal Naval characters.
It’s That Mob Again! Promenading Police, WAAF, Women’s Land Army and others.

Plus many other groups and individuals who will promenade up and down the Dockyard.
Over 350 costumed re-enactors and role-players.
Over 200 assorted pre-1945 vehicles with many drivers in costume.

The above list is in addition to The Historic Dockyard’s own collection of wartime items such as HMS Cavalier, the steam railway, underground shelters, anti-aircraft guns and vehicles.
