The Interface Land SPD
LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK PUBLIC CONSULTATION – THE INTERFACE LAND SUPPLEMENTARY PLANNING DOCUMENT (SPD)
South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust (CHDT) and Medway Council have commissioned a team of consultants to prepare a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the Interface Land, Chatham.
The Interface Land forms the last major undeveloped site in the former Royal Naval Dockyard, Chatham and is in the ownership of SEEDA and CHDT.
The above planning document has been published for a four week period of public consultation (17th August, 5pm to 14th September 2010). To find out more you can view the SPD and supporting documents on the Medway Council website, link here - and a copy of the SPD is available to view during normal office hours at Medway Council’s Civic Headquarters at Gun Wharf, Chatham.
A Consultation Exhibition regarding the draft SPD will be held between 16.00 and 20.00 on two days - Thursday 19th August and Monday 6th September - at The Royal Dockyard Church, The Historic Dockyard,Chatham.

Following consideration of the comments received and a formal adoption process it is anticipated that these new supplementary planning documents will form part of the Local Development Framework (LDF) for Medway Council; the LDF forms the basis of decisions on land-use planning for development within Medway.
